Company History


Early Years

Don Samuel began in the window and siding business in 1990, working for several of the larger companies in the Denver-metro area. After about three years working for others, and after seeing how much the larger companies had to charge to pay for all of their overhead, Don realized that he was never going to be able to fulfill his goal of treating people fairly, and yet making a good living for himself, while working for a large company.

The other major factor that prompted Don to create his own window and siding company were the installation nightmares he experienced, that he had no control over, while working for others. The larger the company, the less control they have over all of their installation crews. So, Don set out to have a few key installers that were the very best in their profession. Today, we have several great installers, one just for windows, and two to three for siding, that we have decade-long relationships with.

Family Operated

Jay, Don's younger son, has been involved in the business since its inception. Having started in the marketing and lead generation department, Jay is now a member of the Prestige Products sales team as well as continuing his marketing and lead generation efforts. Jay also works in the office answering phones and helping with computer details. In 1999, Dustin, Don's older son, came on board having worked several previous summers part-time. Dustin works in sales and handles the graphic design, marketing materials, web design, and database management for the company.
